Overview
Hardboard is an engineered board which is made of steam-cooked and pressure-molded wood fibers in a process patented by William H. Mason. Standard brown Hardboard is used for many applications including doors, roofing, walls, and back boards in kitchens & drawer bases. White Hardboard, which has a gloss veneer face, is used in cases where the board is exposed/visible.
