Graded to a small tight knot specification and free of defects including large knots, excessive checking, discoloration, wane, pith, excessive resin pockets and splitting. This grade is intended for the manufacture of furniture, flooring and shelving or for joinery purposes. Distinguishable by blue “SELECT” stamp on the ends of the boards. “Pine timber select grade” typically refers to a specific quality designation given to pine timber based on certain criteria such as appearance, strength, and lack of defects.
